Eastern Ontario; Niagara Falls

This is one of the several bridges over the Niagara River, between USA and Canada.

This is a picture of our beautiful campsite outside the town of Woodstock, Ontario. Just east of London. It was a pretty, pituresque little town, and the campground was blessedly quiet, after the circus KOA we'd been in for a night in Port Huron. The pictures of Niagara go without explanation. It is absolutely awesome. And in spite of the carnival atmosphere surrounding the falls, the falls themselves are truely inspiring of the power of nature. Lake Erie is 400+ft higher than Lake Ontario, into which it drains. And the Niagara River is the same story as St.Mary's River in Sault Ste. Marie, but multiplied by about 100. 8 locks between the 2 lakes, and we were lucky enough to see a huge cargo ship being locked from Lake Erie down lock 7 on his journey to Lake Ontario.
