The Covered Bridges of Vermont

We only visited 2 of the covered bridges available on our route in northern Vermont. And between those 2, we were treated with a close up of one of the many, many flocks of wild turkeys we had seen since we got into Minnesota. The covered bridges (in case you missed it) are put together with wooden pegs. It's such a beautiful countryside....we decided when we got old, we'd always come to Vermont in the summers.
